Hello!
My name is Kris. I am an artist…duh.
Well, this is my totally cool web page I had to build. I’ve graduated
from CSU Fresno. I've made this page to showcase some of my pieces, an online portfolio.
Look around, I hope you enjoy it.
This
is how it will work, ok? I’m going to break my work up according to type.
I will have categories of:
Kris' Fun Section of Death; this is where I will have miscellaneous works I don't really have a catagory for. It will be funtastic, so
check it out!
Drawings; I feel at drawing is my best ability. I will start will a progression
from the early work to more recent art. This will cover the mediums of pencil,
colored pencil, charcoal, and ink.
Design; I've taken design and interaction of color, which I would say is advance design, it was
ok. I work with black and white, then color aid paper. For anyone who doesn't
know about color aid paper, 1. it smells funny and 2. it’s expensive.
Prints; also while talking classes I took two printmaking classes. I took
an introduction to printmaking and advance printmaking, or lithography. I have
Intaglio: etchings, rosin and ground acid washes; as well as stone lithography and waterless lithography.
Paintings; I have taken almost two semesters of painting. I had one of the best
art teachers in the world with beginning paints. My first paintings are done
on canvas with acrylic. In my second semester I used oil paints. Oils are expensive and smelly…but boy do the make some pretty colors.
Computer Art; I can’t believe that I this area. I’ve done some art,
mostly during my art theory class. I know photoshop like the back of my hand, and have experience with Illustrator and Painter.
Sculpture; I took sculpture class. I really just need a fun class to help the
semester pass. I really like what I’ve done. I worked in plaster and algenate. I found that I love life casting and want to do more work in that
direction.
Glass and Metal; by this point you’re probably wondering how many differnt meduims does this girl
do? I’m also in glass blower, well I wish I was a glass blower. I will have works of the blown nature, as well as some playful punties. I've done some really nice
stuff but it's not cleaned up yet. I also do glass casting, and I have tried metal casting too.

What's New?
*4-12*
I'll be putting up new drawing soon, i've updated a few things mainly computer art.
*12-16*
Changed some things, and also took some stuff off. I'll be taking some new photo's of my work, I
actually did some stuff this semester worth taking a picture of.
*6-18*
So I'v been drawing, because it's summer. So I have some new images up there. I put a fun picture
I drew of my family in the section of death. And I finally found a good print of the Rose Bride, so I scaned it, and
now it's up! I put clever 'new' signs by the new works, so you can find them easier. I'm just the nicest!

Geepers, that took so much time. Ok so I've updated....everything. I'm tired and everyone is
tired of me talking about this webpage. Ok. i've put new images in DRAWING, GLASS, SCULPTURE, Kris's fun section
of death and computer art. I took some stuff off, so look at it soon because it might just be gone one day. I've
hit the limit so any new work means loss of old stuff.

Well, I moved a few things around, some drawing to the computer art area. Um...I reorganized the art,
so it's more in chonological order now. Yeah I few new images in computer art. Soon I'll have some new sculptures,
glass, and paintings.

Mowahahahaha, I having some bad photo's of my friends, paintings, and glass up now. I just packed like all
of my glass, so I'll unpack it and take more photo's at a undisclosed date. But it's all up and running. Take
that suckers!*

Still working on this thing...god, who would think this would be such a task. well, I have some new
items, something in my fun section of death, some sculptures are up, along with my ceramics and designs. Oh yeah
one new print...well it's three but one, artist.

Next is computer art....yeah? well, it's up now...boy did that take a while. I lost all the
good images, I had five really cool series, but now only a few of each of them...me's so sad. Next step is getting
that damn film developed and then tranfered to the page... I swear this page will be mostly done by May 10th!

Alright the prints are in and looking good! I also put in a few of my water colors. And i have updated
the drawing: Pencil & Ink, Color pencil, and computer inhanced.

Ok, I have a few drawings up, hopefully I will find the already scaned ones and also scan some
new ones. I have infromation up in the Firsts, Drawing, Watercolor, and Prints. I hope to
have prints up soon. Probably next on the
list. I have one little water color...of my brother.
